Monocene ist eine deutsch kroatische Alternative Rock Band, gegründet 2023. Das Trio verbindet Einflüsse aus Grunge, Post Grunge und Indie Rock mit emotionaler Direktheit und klarer Haltung.
Die Songs von Monocene bewegen sich zwischen persönlicher Introspektion und gesellschaftlicher Beobachtung. Themen wie innere Brüche, Verlust, mentale Gesundheit und soziale Entfremdung stehen im Mittelpunkt. Die Band verzichtet bewusst auf Effekthascherei und setzt stattdessen auf Dynamik, Atmosphäre und Texte mit Tiefe.
Nach der Debüt EP Superior und mehreren Singles veröffentlichen Monocene am 24.01.2026 ihr erstes Studioalbum More Than I Own. Alle bisherigen Releases wurden in Eigenregie produziert. Die Band arbeitet unabhängig und mit voller kreativer Kontrolle.
